This is absolutely an IN, might as well get that out of the way first. If someone said to us, "T Lo, let's say you have a former child star who's now 16 and she's got a potentially image-shattering movie coming out. What sort of look would you suggest for the premiere?" we couldn't come up with a better answer than this. It's pitch perfect from tip to toe. And it was a wise choice to remove the feathers. She looks pretty and sophisticated and unlike some of her peers she doesn't look like she's trying too hard (not that we're MILEY CYRUS thinking of anyone MILEY CYRUS in particular when we MILEY say thathannahmontana).
The only thing is, as pretty as the hair and makeup are, we would also, if asked, advise her that it's time to find a more sophisticated 'do. That Alice in Wonderland look is played out.
Now, no one actually IS asking us these types of questions, but it's perfectly normal and healthy to pretend they are. You should try it.
