Let's face it, bitches. That dress is STUNNING. More importantly, it's WEIRD. It's both STUNNING and WEIRD. These are two words we don't get to use enough when we look at red carpet pictures.

Okay, yes. We probably use stunning a bit much, but you never hear us use weird as a compliment, do you? That's because none of these famous bitches know how to take a risk anymore. You'd think if your entire outfit was borrowed, you'd take a few more chances, but the more the designers hand out, the less likely the starlets are to choose anything but prom gowns and diamonds.

Anyway, this dress. Look at that silhouette and how it goes away from her, making her look she's floating away. Look at all the silver details that you have to get up close and see and that don't overwhelm the dress. LOOK AT THAT BIG HONKIN' EAGLE and how it doesn't overwhelm her at all and look at that neckline which is so flattering and just take a step back and take the whole thing in because she is CATE DAMN BLANCHETT IN AN ALEXANDER FUCKING MCQUEEN and maybe we should employ our critical faculties a bit more studiously, but kittens? That is ENOUGH to go on.

BLANCHETT/MCQUEEN. SO fucking IN! It's too much, kittens! Just LOOK at it!
